Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, garden and views of quiet street, CASA LOKO Guest House is located in Luxor, 3.2 km from Medinet Habu Temple. The property features garden and city views, and is 2.1 km from Colossi of Memnon. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, full-day security and free WiFi.

The property itself is beautiful and very well designed. The layout of the pool, garden, outdoor seating, and eating area is awesome. There is a well-balanced amount of greenery with that of the decor around the outside area. The area is even more enjoyable in the evenings, with proper lighting to enhance the beauty of the property. It was great being treated to after dinner hot tea with mint picked fresh from the herbal garden near the pool. Inside the very spacious apartment are all the comforts of home. A huge balcony overlooks the pool, and the rooftop seating areas are a great place to watch the sunset while having some tea. The food services were fantastic with plenty to eat and great tasting local dishes. A couple of Mom and Pop restaurants are within walking distance, but you can also get it delivered. Last and certainly not least, the people at Casa Loka are fantastic. The owner-manager, his son, and the staff went out of their way to make the guests feel like family. They took care of any whim and did so with a smile. I can't say enough about how kind, respectful, helpful, and appreciative of their clients, the staff show towards me as well as the other guests. They truly made ghe stay absolutely amazing. Do I recommend this place? And would I go back? Absolutely!!

Jaba's is a great host and his hotel is in a fantastic, quiet location at the end of the West bank residential areas and with a view over the mountains and green fields accompanied by palms. A truly peaceful place far from the scammers and street sellers elsewhere in Luxor :-) it's a great starting point for visiting the ancient monuments at the West Bank of Nile. Jaba organized our trip in the area for a very fair price and with a very sweet driver. Would definitely come back! The room itself is designed with taste in a classical style and much larger than regular rooms. Also the breakfast was fantastic and different every day. In the evening we asked for vegetarian options and got some grilled and baked veggies, the tajin was delicious! Thanks for having us! In sha'llah see u again!

- Amazing host (arranged local tours to the places at a very affordable cost) - Such a lovely traditional property ( I would recommend anyone to stay here rather than in hotels, gives you a feel of a traditional and contemporary Egyptian house - the cat and dog :) so friendly - Very nice warm breakfast - Amazing homely and beautifully preserved property.

The owner Amro is so kind, friendly and helpful, and handsome :), and all the staff are so friendly. I met nice people here and we all enjoyed a lot staying in this lovely place, and we say it’s the best place in Egypt!!! It made our travel in Luxor wonderful! We were so lucky to found this place! Yasmine Guest House is situated in the West bank district of Luxor, 4.9 km from Medinet Habu Temple, 5.3 km from Deir el-Medina and 5.8 km from Valley of the Queens. The air-conditioned accommodation is 3.9 km from Colossi of Memnon. Luxor Train Station is 21 km from the guest house and Luxor Museum is 23 km away.

I stayed at the hotel for four days, and it was a very good stay. The hotel has been newly refurbished, which made it look nice and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent, and Nasser, the host, kindly adapted to my vegetarian diet, for which I am grateful. There were days when I needed an early breakfast, and they kindly accommodated that request. Additionally, the room was a decent size and had all the necessities. The location is in the west bank, closer to the countryside, with a few good restaurants and a nearby shop for essentials. However, you can take a quick 5-minute ferry to the East bank, which is livelier. The host checked in regularly to ensure my stay was fine and to answer any questions. They also offered me an airport ride for a small additional charge of ten dollars or pounds sterling. Karim, who works as a guide/driver for the hotel, drove me and guided me through places like the Hastepuy temple, Valley of Kings, Luxor temple, etc. He was welcoming and excellent in his guiding and answering questions. Overall, I felt very welcome, almost as if I had stayed with long-distance relatives. I thank Karim, Nasser, and the rest of the team for making my Luxor trip so memorable.

Situated in Luxor, 3.9 km from Colossi of Memnon and 4.9 km from Medinet Habu Temple, Diamond Guest House offers a garden and air conditioning. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the apartment free of charge. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available.

I booked it just a day before my trip to Luxor, it was done in bit of a hurry but the cleanness got my eyes even though it didn’t have any reviews yet. It seemed just opened and I booked it and was a great decision. I arrived Luxor at almost 11pm and didn’t know that Uber isn’t so useful in this city, thankfully the host asked me if I need a pick-up in timely manner and I asked one, they were waiting for me at the very late time (the car was very old; from 1978 😅, but was fun experience overall) and was able to arrive safe and sound. The host was very proud of the brand new facility and I could see why, even though it’s not the ones like from the fanciest countries but I think it’s way better than the other expensive and old accommodations. And since I was planning to cram all the site-seeing in a day, I needed a car. And even though I didn’t do much research on what’s the fare fees for getting around especially in Luxor, after 6days in Egypt, kind of had a sense what’s too much and what’s not, and the host offered me an relatively reasonable price for the driver for west back and east bank, with felucca included. And the driver Mr. Mohamed was a nice elderly but with a good spirit and gave me some good introductions on the way to the sites. I guess it’s inevitable that even nicest people I met here also sometimes have to ask something more at the end (that has been happened all the time while I was staying in Egypt), but they never mean bad, all kind and genuine, and that really made me thankful for making my hectic day so wonderful and truly unforgettable.

In the East bank district of Luxor, close to Luxor Train Station, Abeer Guest House features a rooftop pool and a washing machine. All rooms feature a kitchen and a private bathroom. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk and private check-in and check-out for guests.

The owners Abeer and Austin by themselves rate a six out of five. Kind, open, helpful and generous are words that come to mind. Being raised in Luxor Abbeer’s perspective is invaluable while Austin being an Irish expat really understands what it takes to navigate this challenging environment. The breakfast really sets you up for the day. And they did a great job of accommodating my dietary restrictions. While basic, the accommodation was clean, spacious and comfortable. The rooftop communal area is a treat.

The camp is very cozy with it's own yard which is nice for chilling. The location is also very good, the area is very quiet and there's a lot of locals around. The owner is also nice, after the first night he let us change from the hut to a real room for free. Good, cheap restaurant next door, Rustic House.

The rooms were very charming. The owner Ahmed and everyone that worked there was very nice snd helpful. The location was close by to Valley of The Kings, Temple of the d’Aman and Memnon colossi. It was also much more quiet than the East Bank. Very good food at the restaurant.

This is a family business with multiple guesthouses on the west bank. The room we originally booked had a problem and was unavailable but Hamdi was very apologetic and offered us a number of other options. We ended up staying at the Old Nile Hotel where we were made to feel very welcome by Jordan. It was very quiet and peaceful and is right next to a small lake. We were even given a fishing rod to use which I really appreciated. Hamdi and Jordan are attentive hosts and really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Very great hosts that will do everything to make you feel comfortable. Nothing is too much or impossible to them. Also location is perfect, very quiet beautifull area close to the fields along the night. Perfect to go for a sunset and out of the city of Luxor. Since they just started there were not so many people by the time I stayed there. But I am sure they will get there, you will feel like home here!

I enjoyed my stay here very much. The wifi was excellent, my room was light and clean, the bathroom worked well, and breakfast on the rooftop was really good. The guesthouse is in a back street but still very near to everything I needed, and it was quiet from people and traffic. It was a huge bonus to be met at Luxor train station and then walked to the door by someone connected with the hostel because travellers get hassled a lot by caleche and taxi drivers on the way.

This guesthouse is located on the West Side of Louxor, more quiet than the East Side and less turistic. We had a wonderful stay in Louxor. The guesthouse is great, the room was very large and the rooftop offers a wonderful view on Louxor Temple ! Our host was very kind with us, he gave us a breakfost box for a morning where we leave very early and help us to make a laundry in the house. The breakfast was very good, specially the omelet : wow !
