The room, the bed, the lavatory and personal hygiene amenities were of excellent standard. The idea of "First Aid" kit (chocolate bars, water, beer, wine at a reasonable price, but also the cutlery and kettle) were very attentive. Own parking - splendid.

This is a lovely, peaceful property in the heart of old Pirna. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast included. Plenty of restaurants and bars close by.
Bus and train stations 15 minutes walk away, which make access to Saxony Switzerland and Dresden so easy. Both of them are about 20 minutes by train.
Old Pirna is lovely and Pension Donatus was the perfect choice for sightseeing in the area.
By the way, the car park at the Pension (£10 a night) is so cool. You drive the car into the garage, take all your luggage out, and it disappears to a car park underground 😄

It's a very nice place, room was comfortable, hosts were very friendly. Beer offered on premise at a very reasonable cost. Very good relation of price to quality. There is a very good bike trail to Bautzen/Budisyn (which I highly recommend to visit, as it's a wonderful town).
Overall, I recommend this place.

I can fully recommend this hotel, as the location is simply great (we were just worrying about parking options in the historic centre, but the receptionist kindly gave us variety of advices and so no problem at all) and the apartment was very nice. Absolutely calm and clean, with a beautiful terrace and romantic atmosphere. The refreshment-fruit, liquor and bonbons for good night made our hearts melting. And I can also recommend extra payment for breakfast, delicious meals, wide variety of food, it's fully worth 12€. And also tl highlight a nice approach of the owners.
