Walking through the countryside villages in the morning and in the quietness of the night, feeling the aromas of crops and the pine forest around was like a Zen experience, I loved it. Pension Sommer cottages are very cozzie, even quipped with sauna if you visit it in winter, they have all what you need for a pleasant countryside stay. Furthermore, the host Mr Lothar Sommer is an ornithologist, we have in common the love for birds. And someone who is devoted to the care of birds can only be a good person and a gentleman. If you live in a town and have children who do not have much contact with nature, then Pension Sommer has that something extra, your children will be amazed to be in close contact with exotic birds. To sum up, if what you want is a peace&quiet countryside stay, then Pension Sommer comes as highly recommended.

This was a beautiful hotel. The treelined drive to the location, the well kept grounds and the super cozy room and soft bed was delightful. They even has some bunnies, goats, frogs, fish and chickens the kids loved to watch. We loved this location and the views. The breakfast was delicious and they even made us some special hot chocolate for the kids. This is great place to stop if you are on your way to Berlin or Tropical Islands resort.

I liked pretty much everything, the room is great, spacious, very clean, the bed is comfy and very clean, overall the room was great. The breakfast room was also great, they were great with my dog. Very nice hosts. Lovely garden also! It is a very calm area.

This is the nicest little hotel. Most of the rooms are above the Eiscafé where they serve their fabulous homemade ice cream concoctions, their original distilled whisky, and their own microbrewery beers. The eiscafé is open for hours that should never disturb anyone's sleep, and the area is so tranquil. Staff are lovely, and the village is moderate size (approx. 11k) with several local restaurants, cafés, and shops in walking distance.
