Casa del Pozo Azul - Minca, hotel in Minca

Casa Pozo Azul is located 2 km from Minca in the Magdalena Region, 17 km from Santa Marta. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and restaurant.

Pretty good location, nestled in nature with the jungle around the property, yet only 45 mins walk to town, and a good base for hikes around the area. Right on the river and super close to the Pozo Azul waterfall. Room was spacious and very reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere, interesting other travellers. Plenty of space to hang out, play games and do exercise. The managers, especially Pablo, were incredibly helpful with information, tips and great vibe.

Great location, really comfy beds. If you want a quiet place to relax and chill then this is the spot for you. It feels like you've rented a house, really enjoyed having the big kitchen. The wifi was great, and I was able to work during the day around the hostel and even from my bed. Also the property has 4 mango trees, which comes with an unlimited amount of free mangos all day.

Great hostel in the middle of Getsemani. We booked a private room which was quite pricey and did not have a window. However, we still enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hostel as it is super new and clean and at a great location. Some of our fellow travellers said that some of the dorms are small and others are not.

Great location right by Pozo Azul. About 45 minutes walk down to Minca so taxi or moto taxi probably preferable. Large home near a river. Breakfast was simple and great. Great host who gave us lots of great recommendations for where to visit upon arrival.

The hosts were super friendly and it’s in a great location, with the owner’s shop also next door. The room was spacious with a private bathroom, and then a nice communal space outside where we met some other travellers. It was a nice quiet place to chill in the day too, and the room had a good fan.

Beautiful room with a lovely view and decent outdoor shower. Pool was amazing with a great view from the pool. Breakfast was nice. Great location, felt remote but was only a 10/15 min walk to the main town. Although our room was gorgeous and felt luxurious the main area had a hostel vibe (which we didn’t mind but was unexpected) so worth knowing if you think it will feel more boutiquey.

I have been warmly welcomed by Carlos who is a really nice host, he has good talks, and good recommendations about Minca ! The place is quiet and really near to Minca's "city center". The garden is a little paradise, where you can relax with a cup of coffee on the swinging hanging chair ! Thank you :)
