The place located at Shuhe Ancient city which is less busier than Dayan Ancient city. It has a quite vibe with less people that you can take your time with taking photos. Every angle is an instagrammable worthy place. The staff is very accommodating and respond quite with messages send via wechat. We were offered arrival picked up and assistance with our luggage on arrival. The hotel has a very nice courtyard and was decorated with Chinese ancient vibe design that will transmigrated you into an ancient China era. The amenities were very complete that they event provide you with facial hydrating masks. The room is as per photo provided, spacious with modern appliances. They provided egg fried rice We had a great time at the place!

The position of the hotel is very good. In the center of the old town but not directly on the mainstreet, so it’s silent. And the staff were extremely friendly. They helped me a lot. Location wise is exactly inside the Lijiang Oldtown, just take a few steps out of the hotel its the oldtown already. All shops within walking distance. The design of the hotel is like a mini resort, very up to date and gorgeous, same as per the description. The staff there was helpful. The room is comfortable and spacious. The staff also is helpful in assisting to booked our Yulong Mountain and Lijiang Impression Show tour.
As the hotel located inside the oldtown, vehicle cannot go in, so have to walk by foot from the dropoff point to the hotel. The hotel is located at the center of the Lijiang Oldtown, so need to walk around 5-10min from the dropoff point to the hotel and if there is luggage, its better to pay for the tricycle to carry your bag, payment around 20yuan only. But its a fun experience, we can window shopping while walking to the hotel as you need to go through the Oldtown Market to the hotel

She helped to arrange value for money airport transfers and local tours (we went fo a day tour Shangri-la and visit most tourist spots along the way). It is such an experience staying in a traditional village guesthouse which is next to Zhongyi market with more than 100 shops and stalls. Near to bus stop to places of interest. We took Bus #101 straight to Yulong Snow Mountain resort for RMB15 one-way and pay our own entrance fee, etc. Very very convenient..

The owners were super helpful and the accommodation was wonderful. Would highly recommend to firnds and family.There are plenty of places to sit outside the room, including a roof top space. Just 15 mins walk to the ancient town. However, if you turn right and walk up the hill, you will come to an amazing view after 10 mins (max) inc sun set. Then if you carry on along the well maintained.stone path you will find yourself on the elephant mountain ridge. Maps don't show it but follow path and you will come to a cross road. On your.left you.will see steps. Go all the way to the top turn right and the path will take you to more amazing views. You can go to.the park from.here and if a clear morning (suggest before 8am) the snowy mountain can be seen in all it's glory. After 8 the clouds gather round the top. Bare in mind park may charge 75Y When you enter

Amazing guesthouse, one of my favourite stays of all time. Great location and beautiful courtyard with spacious rooms, but what made it particularly special was the hospitality. From Zhang Xueping getting up early to prepare us breakfast every day, even with some extras for the hike, to Joye preparing all details of our hike to the Tiger Leaping Gorge, they went above and beyond to make our trip memorable and we would go back to this guesthouse just to see them again! The malamutes were the cherry on top!
The host was super friendly, they really want to make your holiday as comfortable as possible. Also the bed was very comfortable and location was super nice, in a quiet street. Free water on the go, I highly recommend this place!
Great feel at the hotel, like staying with a family. They are very welcoming and joye was a wonderful host. Loves a good chat in English. The rooms were traditional wooden decor rooms but with with very modern facilities! Perfectly located in the slightly quieter but only slightly 😆 part of the ancient town. The location in a quiet alley in the old town is perfect. There are flowers everywhere and the guesthouse looks so beautiful. You are in a different World, almost like in a movie. The staff is very kind and helpfull. They came to meet is and sent is of again early in the morning to catch a train to Dali so we did not had to carry our luggage in the old town and would not get lost. Is was very easy and friendly communicating with the staff.
Good value for money. This guesthouse is really a hidden gem, it's in a quiet lane of the old town. What makes me love gegewu is the support provided by the little staff. She helped book trips and was always available to provide any needed help.. One night when I came back she brought me a cake. in addition, it really warmed my heart. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated in a traditional style. I highly recommend this guest house.
