We really liked the pool and accommodation. Each room is in its own building (bungalow) so really cute and no noise from the rooms next door! The owners have put a lot of love into creating this place. We found it comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was nice, we also had dinner there which was also tasty and they even adapted a dish to suit my tastes. There is parking if you need it.
Very close to the beach, unfortunately we arrived when the tide was high so weren't able to experience it as much. It is also near to the river, we didn't see it but there is apparently a lovely sunset there.
It could be a great place to hire with a group of friends / families as you could each take a room and have the pool and garden all to yourself.
The owners made us feel very welcome. They even gave us some tips for our onward journey which turned out to be very good tips!
I saw in other comments people thought there should be more service (e.g. someone to bring you a drink at the pool), this could be nice to have but I found that if I wanted anything everyone was very helpful (we had beers at the pool) we just did not expect this to be 24/hours as it is a small place. The place is new so these things may also change.

The decor of the pousada in general and of our room was excellent. Our breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our host Chris and her partner helped with ideas for trips and also put us in touch with a local taxi driver to help us get around. We spent a day at Praia Patachou (a small fee is needed to access) with facilities for shower and food. A visit to Tatuamunha, 10K south, allowed us to visit numerous artisan shops. Also the local Pizzeria is very good and a pleasant place to eat in, with all pizzas made in a wood burning oven. A car is reccommended to make the most of your stay. We arrived on foot via taxi and that worked fine.

The breakfast was very nice and delivered in a nice picnic basket, with everything neatly packed. The chalets are quiet and private, which was perfect for our stay. There's a beach just a short walk away that has no other tourists around, with other nice beaches accessible by car.
The location is a walking distance to the local beach and the host is able to provide a very affordable boat trip to the local natural pools. The host is very approachable and helpful and we enjoyed staying at the property. There are grocery shops within a walking distance from the property too.
