So far, this is the best location I have stayed in Brazil, and we have travelled to at least 30 Pousada´s so far.
The attention to detail here is amazing. It is a little more expensive than others, but the hotel provides you with free snorkel gear, beach paddles, umbrellas and chairs, SUPS, and so on... There is a menu with activities you can do throughout Maresias, and we just had to add a night once arriving! It´s the most sustainable place I´ve been to in Brazil with attention to recycling, a water filter for reusable bottles and more, and that was a major bonus.
The breakfast is the BEST and cooked fresh daily with new items on the menu for offer by passionate chefs. We really loved it and will be back.

Excellent breakfast with eggs on offer. Host Andre speaks good english, nice guy, runs it with his father. Stayed on 2nd floor.
These are along a communal balcony - liked that the room window had frosted glass, so get light and privacy - thoughtful and smart.
Right across from the town square, about 50m to the beach and bus-stop. Very reasonably priced.

Super friendly, respond right away to texts. Could check in earlier as well. Great place, great location, barbecue oven in the garden.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The rooms were comfortable and clean and did not have even a hint of a musty smell, which is often a problem in many seaside pousadas. It was very quiet at night and I slept soundly, at least until the kitchen staff arrived early in the morning. It was convenient to walk to the convention center, the beach, and restaurants.
I loved the atmosphere of this place; it was super chilled, like if you’re at your own home! The friendly staff and owners! Great location, with various restaurants around, all within walking distance. Breakfast was good, too, but minimal for vegetarians, and no milk alternatives were available. It would not suit vegans at all. Fresh fruits and Pão de queijo (Brazilian cheese balls) were available every morning!
Superior rooms are newer, comfier and quieter - better showers too

The two swimming pools (one for children) were a great addition to our stay. The apartment is close to the beach, in a nice and quiet area. For those who are looking for a calm and relaxing time off, this is a good place.
Friendly welcome, helpful people, everthing easy going, the owner speaks good englisch and makes sure that you get a good breakfast. Thanks for beeing good hosts.
