The hosts are very nice and helpful. The room is equipped with everything you need. Fan, air-conditioning, fridge, television. There is a small communal kitchen with the essentials. There are washing lines for drying clothes and a sink for the laundry. The pousada is in the centre, so the rooms facing the street are a bit noisy, but this seems to be the case with most accommodation in Itacaré. Advantage: everything is close by. I recommend this pousada.

It's a 15 min walk from the bus station - not worth a taxi, unless you have very heavy bags. Very centric, next to the tourist street and close to all bars and restaurants.

I was looking for a quiet and isolated area in Península de Maraú (Bahia) to rest and enjoy nature and Algodões was truly an amazing choice. Radha and Alceu are great hosts and their house felt like home in the middle of a paradise. Their tips about the area helped me a lot to have a better experience. The house is just 5 minutes walk from the beach and at night I could even hear the sea.
