I loved it all. Period. Joao who manages the hotel may only be in his late 20s but his warmth, thoughtfulness, friendliness and the whole team's focus on giving you a special experience and time is evident from the moment you arrive. Sometimes you stay at a hotel where you may be greeted with professionalism. On a few occasions you move beyond that and create a true human and sincere connection. Joao is dedicated to making your stay truly and positively memorable and was so helpful in each and every way possible. So - long story short. My wife and I had a wonderful stay here for 4 days. Olivier, Jô, Elsine and Guozone were all so welcoming, warm and friendly.
The hotel felt like a boutique hotel with some really small touches which went a long way such as writing names outside of the rooms, and remembering what our preferences are for breakfast.
On to the breakfast, it was easily the best we had in Brazil, the team go out of their way to make the food as you like it, and had home made condiments like jams, etc.
The hotel pool was lovely, along with the room, the views from the roof were amazing. The wifi was super strong aswell which was appreciated.
The location was perfect for getting to the beach, in just a short walk, along with hiking in the dunes which offers amazing views.
In short I would highly recommend staying at R.I.O

My stay at Martina and Luis was absolutely wonderful. They are such amazing, warmhearted and welcoming people, you will feel at home straight away.
The accommodation is very nice, clean and spacious. And the wifi is very good, if you're working online.
As a kite surfer, this is the perfect place as it is located within walking distance to the beach. A lovely beach, which is much more quiet than the main kite beach in Cumbuco and gives you all the space to practice!
Every time I would travel to other places (Rio, Jericoacoara, Taiba…), afterwards I would return again to Casa Martina and be welcomed with open arms. I would for sure recommend staying at this place if you want to enjoy a great kite trip in Cumbuco with lovely hosts who are always open for an interesting conversation about life. 😉 I will be back!!!

Location is great, very close to the center of Cumbuco, near restaurants and shops, but also located in a quiet area of the Cumbuco beach surrounded by coconut palms. The flat was well equipped , bed was comfy and air conditioner worked well. The host was very attentive as well. 10 out of 10!
Great location right next to the beach and in proximity to the town's centre. The apartment is spacious, all necessary equipment is provided. Access to the common swimming pool provided. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Everything was excellent during my stay at Outro. The boutique hotel is super relaxed and the room is really nice and comfortable and is complemented by a nice semi-private terrace outside the room. The location is premium, right next to the Outro Bar, which has excellent food, and you can kitesurf right at your doorstep. It’s beautiful!!!

Big apartment with kitchen with everything you need to cook, chill out and sleep. Perfect location, super very friendly host. Early checkin and late checkout was possible. The apartment is big and has everything you need. It's super close to the beach, literally 1min walk and you have one of the best parts of the beach in Cumbuco. The center with a big supermarket is 5 min walk. Nice, clean swimming pool outside with plenty of options to chill out.
