The house is tip top clean and fresh with good sized rooms. The pool was a brilliant bonus to have a dip to keep cool during the gorgeous weather.The owners Lilly,Vesy & Michael went above and beyond hospitality to make my stay memorable.Easy walking distance into the town for food and transport and a local shop close bye.Such a little gem for a great price.I would wholeheartedly recommend this lovely place.Also food can be provided if you ask.I had the most amazing breakfast yum. I will be back again.

Very cute authentic Bulgarian house. Nice mix of modern and old. The beds were very comfy and the rooms were clean. Super friendly host and easy checkin/checkout. And so cute cats were running around outside in the garden! (But not in the house of course)
When we come to Kalofer we will come again for sure!

My friend and I decided to visit Kalofer specifically to do the hike to the Raiskoto Praskalo waterfall, but since we don't have a car, we chose this guest house because it's located closer to the edge of town and we could easily embark on the way to the trailhead. We still had to walk about an hour to the trailhead but the walk along the road isn't bad at all. We didn't want to stay in any of the places right by the trailhead because then we wouldn't have access to the restaurants and stores in town and we really didn't want to carry food. The room was pretty lovely with a nice balcony overlooking the yard. The kitchen and dining room are shared and on the ground floor, but we never run into anyone else during the two mornings we were there. The bathroom was nice and clean. There isn't much place to store items if you are traveling with lots of luggage but for our short trip, we had just enough space. The WiFi was strong and we appreciated that there was a small fridge in the room. The host was super welcoming and even offered to come pick us up from the town center after we arrived on the bus but we knew it's only a 15-min walk to the apartment and since we had just our backpacks, we chose to walk. Please note that if you are traveling by train, the train station is outside the town so you may want to ask for a ride beforehand.

This was our second stay at Chardaka Guest House and again we enjoyed the warm welcome of it’s hosting. With much care for every detail we felt comfortable and the delicious breakfast we ordered additional can only be recommended. Location is near to the main plaza in Kalofer.
The guest house is incredible! The owners are the nicest people you can find, and you can tell that they really care about your stay being as comfortable as it can be. The room was really nice and cozy, and the wifi is really good! The hosts are willing to make breakfast at a time that's comfortable to you, which was great for me as I left early for a hike.
A quiet, peaceful area. Very close to hiking routes for the Central Balkan National Park. Hosts were friendly and very helpful, there was a shared kitchen with tea/coffee, breakfast available. Room was nice and homely, and ensuite wet room was clean and simple.
This guest house was beyond our expectations. it was very clean, traditional settings, super comfortable, quiet location yet very central. it had all facilities for cooking, staying out of the room on a beautiful veranda and also a dining room. a gem that we recommend strongly. The host was generous offering coffee and tea and very welcoming.
The host is very nice, we booked late and arrived also late, but there were no problems the host helped us with accommodation nicely. To the city center there is 10-15 min easy walk. The house is very unique and interesting with lots of small and big decorations and details, it shows that the host cares about this house, you feel very cosy here. We were staying in the upper floor the room was spacious with lots of useful things for guest (like slippers, kettle, tea, coffee machine, various crockery)
Lovely small guesthouse with very well maintained small garden and a wonderful host. It is situated at the very center of the city, but it is very calm and quiet.
Our host met us at the house even though we arrived late, and she was very friendly and helpful. My friend had a problem with his car, and our host called a mechanic and arranged for him to meet us the next morning. The house was clean and we had plenty of room for five of us, if there are couples willing to share beds you could fit 8 or 9 people there. Great location for hiking up to Rai hut!
