Very friendly staff. We have been travelling for a while and it was nice to be in solidly built and family friendly lodging. We stayed in a family room with two large beds and one single, and it has plenty of room to be comfortable. Breakfast was convenient to have downstairs. It is not included in our Booking.com payment but was a good value at 8 Euro/per person. Good location to go into Innsbruck and also go down into the mountains to explore (Schlik 2000/Stubai Glacier, etc.)

We had extraordinary spacy apartment, two bedrooms and a large living-room. The owners were really nice, they welcomed us personally at 2:30 a.m.!. Although the equipment of the apartment was a little bit older, everything was perfectly clean and the kitchen was really fully equipped. I can fully recommend!
Ellbögen (Near Schönberg im Stubaital)
This farm is quietly situated next to a forest in Ellbögen, and offers views of the Stubai Valley from its small garden. Homemade farm products are served for breakfast.
With free parking, guests can easily drive up to Innsbruck, 13 km away. The ski bus that stops in front of the property drives up to Patscherkofel, 6 km away.

The house was fantastic, so fresh (and outside it was instead so hot, more than 30°C) and it gives you a true Tirol experience. Barbara was a great host (even speaking Italian), the house is big, spotless clean, and with a great view. Beds were very comfortable. Definitely recommended!
Telfes im Stubai (Near Schönberg im Stubaital)
The Stubaitalbahn train station is a 2-minute walk away and provides hourly transport to Innsbruck. Cross-country ski runs, the Schlick 2000 cable car station, the Fulpmes minigolf course and climbing park, and the Mieders summer tobogan trail and are all within 1.5 km of the Pension.

Telfes im Stubai (Near Schönberg im Stubaital)

My friend, daughter and I planned a trip which included visiting the villages of Fulpmes, Mieders and Telfes. We chose to stay at Landhaus Birgit, and although we experienced torrential rain for most of our stay, we were not disappointed. Martin , our host, picked us up from Innsbruck, which was amazing. Martin and his mother were so lovely and helpful throughout our stay. Martin spoke perfect English, so I didn’t have to use my broken German much! We stayed in apartment 30 on the ground floor. The beds were comfy, and warm (as it was chilly at night). There was a traditional style dining table, oven, fridge, microwave and useful utensils. The pool was a good temperature and sauna, perfect. They also have a traditional looking little pub, which opens some days. We had the option to have rolls brought every morning, which was great, so we didn’t have to go to the spar every day. Word of warning, remember shops are shut on a Sunday. The apartments are a ten minute walk downhill to the train station/bus station and a great playground, which my 8 year old loved. There isn’t much in Telfes, but we enjoyed a schnitzel at the pub/restaurant in town called Vivai. There is a spar near the train station for essentials. More shops, restaurants and a larger Spar can be found in neighbouring Fulpmes (about 20 mins walk from Telfes). We enjoyed the local leisure centre with pool with 2 slides. About a ten minute walk from Telfes. The Schlick 2000 cable car from Fulpmes, is about a 25 min walk from the apartments. There are great wood based activities for kids, treehouses, trekking potential etc. Mieders was about a 50 minute walk, but buses are possible from Telfes direct hourly or with a change in Fulpmes.
Innsbruck (Near Schönberg im Stubaital)
Only 8 km away from Innsbruck and combining modern facilities with a traditional style, the Hotel Römerhof enjoys a quiet location between woods and meadows, 80 metres from the Patscherkofel Cable Car and 2 km from the centre of Igls. Free WiFi and free private parking are available.

Telfes im Stubai (Near Schönberg im Stubaital)

Fabulous staff, excellent and plentiful food in the restaurant, spotless and brand new hotel rooms at the base of beautiful mountains. We really appreciated the use of the complimentary bus passes. Excellent value for an amazing hotel.
