Lovely walk on golf course. The entrance and downstairs environment was beautiful.
Wonderful breakfast. Lovely location, near to Cromer but away from the crowds. Pub and hotel nearby for lunch or evening meals. Good cagfe within 10-15 .I utes walk open for breakfast and lunch. Lovely walk to Cromer along the edge of the golf course.
The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice hot or buffet, and the cooked breakfast was always hot. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The location was very nice, tucked away from the road down a long drive and situated on a 18 hole golf course, nice and quiet. The room was very comfortable and clean with quite a big bathroom and plenty of hot water and supplied toiletries.
The caravan was very nice, it was ideally situated to play golf at Searles golf club. It also provided parking at the caravan, it was a very clean site, was very pleased with the site overall. It met all our needs.
We really liked every thing, the location, the hotel, meals, room, golf course, staff, couldnt fault any thing, its our favorite place to take a break and play golf and enjoy a lovely meal in the evening.
The manor was lovely with very pretty restaurant looking out over the golf course. very good breakfast, hot food cooked to order. we saw deer, hares, squirrels, ducks lots of wildlife. we stayed in the pavilion. several bars inside and out and of course golfers. our room was large with complimentary bottled water and toiletries. maid service every day which was very good.
Location was good. Close to several beaches and a couple of pubs and other amenities. Site was quiet and felt safe. Would be great for golfers too. On site health club and golf club that serves drinks and food.
We were very pleased to be upgraded to a suite on our arrival. However it was disappointing that no where in the hotel up until 6pm could you get a drink or lunch etc. You could go to the adjoining golf club bar but we found this uncomfortable and although the lady working in there was brilliant and an asset to the hotel you were made to feel very unwelcome by the golfers. There was no comfy seating and it was quite chilly.
The location is great. The golf course makes it pretty although we didn't go there to play golf. The room was large and the facilities were plentiful as there is no shortage of space.
The hotel is set in a quiet location at the edge of Heacham village. We didn't use the golf course but it helps make the location very peaceful and with excellent views across the course to the sea (which isn't visible from ground level). The location is the only plus point, and if you're a golfer then it may we be all you're interested in
