Definitely Umberto the host is the highlight of the place, always available and helpful, he collected us from the airport and then drove us back for departure, he provided to our every (within reason) request, very nice person. The location is also perfect, within walking distance from old town, on the seaside overseeing a golf, near the best hotels in the area.
Although the hotel was built in the 1980s, it is very well maintained and the retro furniture looks like new! amazing experience for an architecture lover with nostalgics from the 1980s, 1990s! and very very very clean!
The location is amazing just across the street from Maria Pia beach, and only 30 mins of walking to the center of alghero, and 15 mins with the bus to the airport.
The pool facility with the games are totally woth it! mini golf for 1 euro per person! babyfoot table for 0.5 Euro! you cannot get those prices anywhere in 2023!
Beautiful hotel with tennis court, minigolf, outside pool. Free parking, supermarket. Very good location (few minutes to the beach, just about 30 minutes walking along the seaside to old town of Alghero). Tasty breakfast. Kind and friendly staff.
the Rifugio is situated atop a cliff, in a natural reserve. you can’t access it by car, but you will be driven by golf cart to the property from the entrance gates of the parc. incredibly beautiful nature, amazing sunsets, super nice hosts and delicious food! definitely recommend having dinner there!
The staff was very kind and helpful. The location is great, close to the beach and far enough from the loud city center. The hotel area has seen the better days but keeps the charm, the pool is spacious and well maintained, it is a convenient alternative to the beach. If you want, you can spend the whole day inside, in the bar by the pool, playing mini-golf or table tennis.
