Location was nice, but a bit secluded so had to drive to go anywhere. Staff were very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable of the surrounding areas. Overall had a lovely stay.

Fancy being able to walk straight from your hotel room onto a beautiful golf course? This is exactly what you’ll get by staying at a golf hotel, which often features luxury facilities like a gourmet restaurant, a health spa and high-end shops. Golf hotels are often set in dramatic locations, so you can enjoy lots of different outdoor activities.
Good location close to town centre and local golf courses, rooms were good size and a good breakfast each morning. The hosts were lovely people and made us feel welcome, also helped us out with our travel plans up to Royal Troon for the Open.
The property was away from others. It was a very spacious house with lots of room for the 6 of us! Even space to clean the golf clubs! The owner was there to greet us and explained a few things, he was very friendly and brought us extra keys as we were all out and about at different times. The kids loved the games room and spent a lot of time in there. But it was the small touches that we liked like the food hamper and freshly laid local eggs!
Very conveniently located to the centre of Dumfries for an evening meal/beer, and to Wetherspoons for breakfasts. we used it for travelling to local golf courses over a three day period. Parking on the main road lay-by outside was easy as it was never that busy. Surrounding flats were very quiet. Bed was comfortable. plenty wardrobe space in double bedroom, nowhere to hang clothes in the twin, but space in hall cupboards if required. Wifi was easy to access, and steady.
Very interesting accommodation and location, something different!
Host was more than helpful and the breakfast was excellent with lots of choice.
Surrounding area has something for everybody and worth exploring. Also plenty of golf courses in the area.
Would certainly visit again, well recommended.
