The sweetest family ever. Very involved, interested and helpful. Nice people you can level with. The tent was of good quality with a nice bed and avaliable electricity. The bathroom is a little walk through the garden, full of herbs and fruits the family will love to tell you about. Just watch out for the chicken... ;)

    The location is in a beautiful, green, quiet suburb (a bit outside the center). We found the host very pleasant to deal with. He gave us good advice on practical matters and also knew a lot about Sri Lanka and its background/current affairs. The room was fine, nice and quiet, spacious enough and with silent air conditioning. The bathroom was also fine, just a bit warm. The breakfast was very extensive and very tasty and varied. Dinner (made twice) also tasted delicious.

    Amazing hosts Carni got up at 3am to make a breakfast to take with us on safari Thanku 🙏 Room was lovely and clean great air conditioning and the food served to us for breakfast and dinner was beautiful and fresh Definitely recommend staying here

    Well, the price is affordable and had air conditioning in the property but the hosts are very forceful and they would not know how to welcome guests and politeness is highly questionable.

    Comfy bed. Clean. Friendly. Ok location, 30min walk to find food, easy to get around using pick me! And he can arrange tuk tuk if you’re doing Wilpattu safari. Friendly dog that lives on property.

    People! You must be sure not to miss this place! Thilan and his family are fantastic people! Thilan is a humble man who wants to make your stay the best it can be! He gave us some tips on how to best explore the old town - no one else can tell you that! We had some nice conversations and got a lot of cool life advice, interesting facts about animals, stars and religion! The food his wife cooked was very good and we learned new flavors of Sri Lanka ;) The room is clean, the air conditioning is great, hot water! Everything you need!

    The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. He helped us get a cheap tuk tuk when leaving and was very pleasant to talk to. Really comfy and clean room with fantastic air conditioning and mosquito net for the bed. Only 5 minutes walk to the main town area and 10 minutes to the new bus stand.
