We recently stayed at Templation Hotel in Siem Reap and had mixed feelings about our experience. On arrival at around 9pm after a long day of international travel, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were friendly and professional. We were informed that room service was available until 10:30pm, which was a relief. However, after placing our order at 9:30pm, we waited over an hour with no update. When we called to follow up, we were told the kitchen never received the order—extremely frustrating given the late hour and how tired we were.
The hotel grounds are beautiful and breakfast was very good. Unfortunately, there were a lot of mosquitoes, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy the outdoor areas. There was also a power outage during our stay—something we didn’t experience at another hotel nearby, suggesting it wasn’t a widespread issue.
Considering the premium price and 5-star rating, we expected a higher level of service and consistency. While there were some highlights, the inconveniences—especially around basic services like food and electricity—left us disappointed overall.
Nestled within private gardens, THE BEIGE offers tent-style accommodations away from the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap.

This place is truly magical!!! The service is completely unmatched as the staff really do go out of their way to make sure you have the most enjoyable experience. We visited in dry season so unfortunately the river is lower than usual, however, it was still great to see the resident water buffalo and elephant cool off and play in the water.
I cannot thank the staff enough for their efforts during our stay, from the amazing greeting on arrival to the turn down service, the special table setup for dinner with INCREDIBLE food from a local chef, we were continually humbled by how thoughtful and kind everyone was.
If you are planning on doing some temple tours, this is a great place to come home to and recharge in the movie star style tent villas that make you feel like you're on a remote tomb raider expedition. I highly recommend experiencing this place!!
Glamping (glamorous + camping) sites are where you can camp with modern and luxurious facilities. If you are looking for a getaway in nature but don’t want to give up your luxuries, this is ideal for you.
Considering the context of this place, we were pleased to find a spacious, air-conditioned and fairly clean room. The hosts were very friendly and the tuk tuk service impeccable with the gentleman driving who took us everywhere and also acted as our guide. Satisfied!
Hotel was very clean and comfy. Great location near Pub street. Staff was very friendly and the thing that we liked the most was the ventilator above the bed so we did not need to freeze with the air conditioning on and still be at a perfect temperature in the room.
The staff are fabulous so friendly and always willing to assist! The shower is amazing, always hot water even though you don't need it.
The air conditioning was very needed.
The bed very comfy.
Location, just a short walk from the main centre, however, some great restaurants are a few metres away. Try me was my favourite.
Lovely Colonial style hotel within 10 min walk to the centre. Large spacious accommodation with good and quiet air conditioning and giant fan in lounge. Hearty breakfast with choice of western and Asian. Nice Shady Swimming Pool. Good maid service, rooms kept clean and well made up. We especially liked the very smiley and helpful staff. Large comfy beds, but with hard mattresses. Great to have a washing machine and washing powder. Fridge in kitchenette area with mini bar. There’s a bath with lots of hot water.
Great location, comfy bed, good air conditioning, pool on roof with amazing view of siem reap (perfect view of sunset), view from room, staff were exceptional, breakfast was above average.
The hotel exceeded my expectations, the receptionists are extremely helpful and accommodating, they provided a takeaway breakfast to be able to see the sunrise in Angkor Wat, they also helped me to book a tuk-tuk that took us around the temples for the whole days, they also provided good recommendations on activities to do during how 2-days stay. Rooms are spacious and clean, good internet connection, comfy beds and air conditioning is provided. They have a swimming pool accessible at night.
