My dog and I stayed here for one night after taking the Helsinki-Travemünde ferry, before traveling onward. The hotel was easy to reach by bus from the Travemünde harbour, and late arrival was no problem. The room was small but comfy and quiet, and the hotel very cute, my dog received a little welcome package with a dog bowl and treats which he loved. Location near the railway station and the city center was great. I also really appreciated the complimentary tea, coffee and candy (!) in the lobby.
Both the hotel and the room was very nice and cozy! It had really old and pretty furniture, so definitely not a modern hotel. But very charming! The hotel is very centrally located and the staff are so sweet! The breakfast was good and we slept very well.
All in all, for those who are not too posh, this hotel is really great!
The ceiling was high and made a feeling of a spacious room although it was a standard size. The bed was comfortable. There is no air conditioning in the hotel but we appreciated that in the hot summer season there was a fan in the room. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection of food. There was also a parking at the hotel but too small for all the guests. The neighbourhood is quiet thus we parked along the street.
