Stayed here for a weekend getaway with family and think we found our new vacation spot. Roomy cabin with super comfy beds and everything you could need to cook or bake or BBQ- just need to grab the food. Good size pool and very hot hot tub ! Looking forward to staying here again in the future

I love the cabins. It's also very convenient to have a kitchenette. If it wasn't raining, I would have also used the campfire facilities.

The staff were all really friendly and helpful. They fixed anything that broke right away. The cabin, although old, was clean, comfortable and had plenty of cooking utensils. The location is great, 5 mins from Canmore and 20 from Banff. It makes you feel like you're camping with the luxury of a bed. It's also the cheapest place in the region. I would recommend it if you're after a more basic experience for a good price.

This was a perfect little cabin in an awsome location! And it is dog friendly! The wood burning fire was such a bonus. It was quiet and rustic. Read reviews about cleanliness, and wasn’t expecting it to be super clean, but it was perfectly acceptable. We brought our own blankets and pillows, but I do that when I go camping anyways - and this was essentially camping for us! Don’t think of this as a 5 star resort.. but think of it as an awesome rustic cabin camping experience! And bring you dogs they will LOVE IT!

Banff Mountain Gate resort is a total gem of a place to stay. The rustic cabins are beautifully equipped with all you need and are nestled right in the mountains. The views are stunning! The facilities are ideal, and the staff so helpful and nice. You are on the doorstep of beautiful Banff National Park, but tucked away so you can retreat after a day (exploring Lake Louise, Lake Peyto, Banff Gondola, horse riding on the Bow River) to the quiet of your cabin.
