The room (I had the basic level option) was gigantic for Japan, with a huge picture window and a view to die for. To say I was blown away upon arrival would be an understatement. The hotel is spacious and uncrowded. I suspect it caters almost exclusively to the Japanese market so some instructions were on rather informal notes, or simply only in Japanese. The rate is breakfast and dinner included but also includes unlimited alcohol from 7pm and coffee/tea/refreshments all day with an icecream bar in the late morning and afternoon. The silence and sleep quality was superb as was the bathroom with shower.

With free WiFi, this 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk. The property is non-smoking and is located 200 metres from Sendai City Community Support Center. Situated in the main street of Sendai, very close to the metro, my room was on the other side of the street so it was very quiet there. Insulation is also excellent so no sounds from the neighbours could be heard. The room is super big, especially for Japanese hotels, and had its own clothes steam cabinet so you could steam them whenever you wanted. Breakfast is super delicious, there are only two options however. I was in the hotel for 2 weeks but never got tired of the pasta option.

With ingredients from Sendai and nearby they have prepared a sumptuous buffet line. ALL the dishes were delectable. ALL the staff have provided a pleasantly warm and very attentive service. Bravos! Public bath was nice with 2 wash&dry machines for men. The wifi signal was good. If only the hotel has had the new smart tv with YouTube ready it would have been PERFECT!
