At ten minutes walking distance from Athlone town centre and the train station, we got a full-sized 2-bedroom 1.5 bathroom appartment with all ameneties and well-equipped kitchen, all much bigger than we've had before when booking a self-catering appartment. We only stayed one night, so it was a pity we couldn't really enjoy it completely; this would be an ideal starting place if you want to explore this part of Ireland for several days.

A number of golf courses can also be reached within a 10-minute drive. Absolutely stunning property. The house was amazing and so cozy and relaxing. The owners were lovely and offered to drive us into town (as we didn’t have a car) and even picked up food for us when we ordered take out. They were lovely and so was the house! Would highly suggest staying here.

Nice owner (woman) check in and breakfast, wonderful. Great pub downstairs. The bar tender was A+++. Parking directly out front. Nice size room. Quiet location. Nice comfortable bed. The best breakfast ever, cooked to order.. A wonderful stay.
