This property really opens the doors to yesterdays world, I love the way you can sit in the royal rooms and experience the castle as if you were a resident there, it’s truly a unique experience. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for romantic weekend away.
Wexford
Whitford House Hotel is a family-run property located 3 miles from Wexford town and 17 minutes’ drive from Rosslare Europort. Guests can make use of the leisure club facilities, which include a 20-metre pool, sauna, steam room and a fitness centre. It was a beautiful property with a very cosy homely feel, unlike that of big hotels. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the common areas were absolutely lovely. The room itself was very spacious and extremely comfortable. There was a great variety available for breakfast which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were always friendly and helpful and even assisted to secure a reservation for Christmas Eve at the bistro. An overall amazing stay and we will definitely be returning upon our next trip to Wexford 😊

Excellent location only 20 minutes from airport and only 10 minutes walk from city centre and other attractions eg on north bank of river. Only a short walk to railway station. Very helpful and friendly reception and restaurant staff. Good quality restaurant, wide choice on offer. Very comfortable beds.
The location is only 5 stations from the city centre with a tram line directly at the hotel entrance. The hotel is completely modern and airy, very clean and comfy. The breakfast was good but if you arrive a bit later than 10am, you might end up with less produce (including bread). The bar food and drinks were very good.

Rooms are modern, well kept and were very clean. The location is perfect for exploring Dublin City centre and only steps away from all of the famous Dublin nightlife and bars. Despite being in the heart of Temple Bar the sound proofing was really good and blackout curtains a dream. The bed and pillows were also of good quality and made for a really very comfortable sleep. The room was of decent size for city centre Dublin and had some decent modern facilities. Would certainly recommend for budget friendly stay in the heart of Dublin.
Location was really well placed with only a short walk into the city centre. Local food outlets, shops, pubs and overlooking the river Liffey which was fantastic. The accommodation was stylish and clean and had all of the modern conveniences available to us. TV, kitchen, en suite bathroom, balconies overlooking the river etc.

Beautiful ground floor apartment in a renovated old house - looked very fresh and stylishly done while retaining the original features including 2 wonderful old decorative fireplaces. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped, great location (opposite University parkland and with a public park/river behind with a museum) Easy walking distance into the city centre and with shops etc close by.
The hotel is in a great location with the docks of Dublin right in front. It’s about a 20min walk from the city centre and temple bar. We were visiting Dublin as there was a concert at Croke Park, only having to walk 30mins. The Mayson itself is slick, modern with a very stylish theme to the rooms. The rooms had a comfy big bed, a fridge and the bathroom was exceptional with one of the best showers I’ve used at a hotel. The Mayson is a great spot to see all the attractions, drink in all the pubs and eat in all the restaurants.
Very modern and good looking hotel in general. Our room was fantastic, incredibly spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, with some variety and excellent quality. Location is pretty decent, just a 10-minute walk from the city center.
