Please note, there isn't an elevator, so those staying on higher floors will need to navigate the historic stairs. This might be a consideration for those who find steep stairs challenging. However, for those who can, it's a truly unique experience. The owner was wonderfully attentive, preparing our breakfast to our preferences. While the breakfast was simple, it was delicious. Given the challenges of securing a taxi in St. Malo, we're especially grateful for the owner's assistance in arranging one for our departure.

The guest house features family rooms. Room was spacious and very clean. Country setting and gardens lovely and very quiet. An easy 10 minute walk or 2minute bicycle to Combourg. Lucine and Thibout were excellent hosts, friendly, helpful and caring. Breakfasts were excellent. Touring Brittany was easy from this central location and less expensive. Many signed trails for bicycle touring.

Breakfast was simple but fulfilling. Staff were friendly and helpful. The sauna and jacuzzi was good, helped us relax after a long drive.

This made us feel a bit more secure as travelling from the UK. Beds were very comfortable and the view was amazing at all times of the day. Balcony was great for a pre-dinner drink. Plenty of room with 2 showers and very bright and welcoming when we returned from a day out. We also appreciated the delicious local produce supplied.
