Lake view is tremendous. Host is super nice and welcoming, she helped us to book a nearby restaurant which required reservations and we were lucky as there was a cancellation, best value ever!

It’s not the most modern of hotels but the location, the views and super friendly staff more than made up for it. We booked for 2 nights but with hindsight we should have stayed an extra day to explore the area around it further. Our room had a ceiling fan which helped keep us feel cool, but our kids room didn’t so worth requesting one if possible.

Definitely a location to be reached by car. This is a great place to explore the surrounding areas from. We did some hiking and exploring mountain towns nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful, our room was modern and clean. It was very comfy.
The location is secluded, about an hr drive from the Gorges du Verdon where we'd visited for the day, and stayed of Trigance enroute back to Nice. I loved the fact that it was a Castle, it was unlike any other accommodation experience we'd had in France, just so majestic. It also felt more like a 4 star and not 3 star as rated because of the great service, cleanliness, room size and comfort, restaurant option, and just general feeling of the place. The rooftop terrace was also just amazing.
