Without a doubt this was the most amazing place we stayed in our entire trip to Austria. The employees are pleasant, kind and ready to help in everything. The room is large, spacious, decorated and equipped. The food at breakfast was above and beyond any expectation, so much variety, you could even order an egg according to your preference (scrambled, eye). Of course, the location of the hotel is breathtaking, among all the vineyards and nature, the silence and beauty do not leave much room for words. We loved everything and would stay there even more!

Although there is no longer a restaurant, in summer you can enjoy the evening on the Mediterranean terrace or in the Golden Lounge with Wachau wines, sturgeon caviar or caviar pralines. The hotel is centrally located in a perfect location- Weissenkirchen is a small local medievil town in the Wachau valley. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the Danube, from great local restaurants and had the perfect atmosphere to enjoy the vacation. breakfast was extraordinary and so was the personal treatment of the owners. With a car you can get to all the gems of the area. Highly recommended, very good value for money.

The hotel also has a wine bar, a vinotheque, and a walk-in wine cellar. Incredible views at the Spa. Beautiful location and throughly enjoyed it. Would highly recommend.

Located in Mautern on the southern bank of the Danube, only 2 km from Krems, the Nikolaihof offers very spacious, classically equipped rooms with panoramic views over the Wachau Valley. Guests can relax in a sauna and in the large swimming pond with a wooden deck in the garden. Located 5-10 minutes drive from Krems center. The place is just lovely - a room with a door to the garden (in our case, not on all rooms), beautiful garden with natural pool, Sauna and amazing view around. Real lovely place and the host (Elizabeth) is friendly and helpful.

The small, family-run Donauhof is located close to the Danube River in the wine-growing village of Weißenkirchen, in the heart of the Wachau Region, the UNESCO world heritage. It offers tastefully furnished rooms with free WiFi. Very nice cozy hotel, kind owner, excelent breakfast and very nice view of the Danube river. Confortable spacious rooms, parking available. I highly recomend this hotel. A few minutes form Durnstein, small beautiful town.

Built in 1574 as a shipmaster’s house, Renaissancehotel Raffelsberger Hof B&B is a protected building in the historic village centre of Weißenkirchen in the Wachau. It offers rooms with free WiFi, free parking, and a varied breakfast buffet. Everything was great, nice place, fabolus breakfast, happy workers, clean rooms, peaceful enviroment. Sauna was very clean and comfortable and the pool was egzotic.

Surrounded by vineyards, this 4-star hotel is just a 5-minute drive from Göttweig Abbey and 10 minutes from the centre of Krems. The spacious, individually furnished rooms all have air conditioning and overlook the abbey and the surrounding vineyards. The room is large and comfortable. The most amazing feature is its restaurant. The meal we had there is simply the best during our three-week trips around four countries. You also need to try the wine from their own vineyard. People from Vienna come here often just for a meal. Excellent!

The Kirchenwirt is a traditional hotel in a central yet quiet location in the heart of Weißenkirchen in the Wachau Valley, a 15-minute drive from Krems. All rooms are equipped with solid wood furniture. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was really friendly and attentive.
