The lake nearby, with its flora and fauna (buffaloes lazing around the shore with egrets and other birds), added to the magical feel of the place, as we kayaked. The little ones had a great time in the pool, as well as playing with the cool resident cat, which stayed around the villa most of the time. The dinner we ordered and the breakfast that came with the stay were all delicious. The owner and all the staff only spoke a little English, but were very helpful and friendly. The water pressure and temperature consistency were very good, unlike some other regions in Thailand we encountered previously.
