Beautiful room, beautiful warm soft lighting everywhere. Excellent location just several hundred metres from the train and very close to the main square/old town. A lovely place for a drink and to relax, and also so easy to walk from here to everything you need. Really enjoyed Zutphen and the hotel. We decided to stay here for just one night on our way to our final destination, but had I known it was such a beautiful place, we would have extended our stay. Kasteel Engelenburg is a historic hotel with lots of atmosphere which offers delicious breakfasts and dinners. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a spacious and comfortable room in what I believe were the converted stables. It had its own terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens. We will definitely make an effort to come back!

It's a beautiful old townhouse on a lovely square dominated by the church, small, freindly bars, restaurants and a gelato cafe. The town is equally delightful and a short walk. The hotel and staff were lovely. The served breakfast was fresh, with lovely ingredients. Pity it was only a stopover stay, would love to try the restaurant. Very convenient if visiting Thermen Bussloo and don't want to stay at the Thermen.

The staff is very professional. They had oat milk I asked for. The croissants were very good. And the guy at the breakfast café was very attentive.
The room was not very spacious but nice colours and pretty modern. The bathtub was good.
My room was located in new part of the building, but the old one is in really impessive rococo style. The town is very well renovated and you can feel the past, walking the streets. But the young lady at the reception is the real jewel in the hotel. She was helpul, giving much precise information abt town, that we needed, even the location of best cheese shop. Thank you / Dziekujemy!
Excellent location in centre Zutphen! Nice classical building and entrance. We stayed in the renovated part of the building, which means we had a good room with all modern amenities.
Nice breakfast. Super staff, also with assistance with parking.
