We booked for one night at Echor Shimla Hotel, property is very nice and clear. We had a clear view of Mall road, Christ church and jakhu temple from our room. It's no so far from the main market. Hardly 10 minutes from Mall road. Rooms are Centrally heated and they have a gym and a dedicated play area for kids. Definitely will book again.

Location is pretty good as Railway Station is at a walkable distance. Mall Road and the Ridge are also nearly 800 meters, although has a steep climb. Rooms are very spacious. On site restaurant has a wide variety. Taste is bit on mild side for our liking but quality is exceptional. Overall service and hospitality is excellent. Breakfast spread is decent if not elaborate and lacks dessert like cakes or pastries, generally expected from a good hotel. Same day laundry delivery is a perk.
