the breakfast was wonderful: fresh fruit, juice, pastries of all sorts, eggs and sausages, etc. were all very good the atmosphere of the hotel was great, quiet, with great amenities: bar, pool, message salon, and a highly-rated restaurant on the premises the location was excellent, close to everything it seemed within a 10 minute walk most impressively was the staff; I have stayed at countless excellent hotels, but the staff and its service of this hotel was off the charts--awesome is not enough to express our estimation of the staff

This hotel was such a gorgeous find! The design is modern but comforting, I loved how laid-back but thoughtful the layout and aesthetics felt. Breakfast was particularly impressive - especially having a full-sized mug for tea or coffee! - and the food was delicious, very clearly freshly prepared in-house. Location-wise the hotel is perfectly situated, right across from the train station and an easy base for exploring the city. The staff were wonderful and friendly. Cocktails from the bar were delicious. Special nod to Douglas and Pippa the budgies :)

The reception needs to be a little more friendly and that will make a huge difference.
