Romantik Hotel Aquarium, 4-star hotel in Friedrichstadt

This stylish, non-smoking, 4-star hotel is located directly on a canal in the Nordfriesland district of Schleswig-Holstein, close to the North Sea coast. It offers an indoor pool and free Wi-Fi.

In 2021, all rooms in the hotel building " ehemalige Senffabrik" (old guest house) were renovated and a platform lift was installed.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel.

    Very good location in the historic city center, close to restaurants, bakery, market. Nonetheless no parking problems. Clean, comfortable beds. Friedrichstadt is an ideal location for excursions in Western and Northern Schleswig-Holstein. Very good value for money.

    Comfortable and clean with lovely welcoming staff and a good breakfast. The location is excellent right in the heart of the most wonderful and interesting town. The building is a bit creaky around the edges and that is part of its charm. There is a lovely open self service bar area on the landing which is a very nice touch.

    A great holiday cottage with excellent new modern facilities. Beautiful rooms with an artistic feeling. Great location, close to the center of town and the river but at the same time in a quiet location. The perfect property for a great vacation.

    Great location. Lovely room overlooking the main square. Free parking in front of hotel. Nice restaurant on site. Modern, clean and spacious room. I love the non-slippery slate floor in the bathroom. Every hotel should have this. Nice desk and comfortable chair in room.

    I liked the location - right on the canal, the restaurant and the staff. I liked the parking space as well - right in the backyard. The breakfast was delicious - a good selection of quality products and the staff in the restaurant was really nice. I loved the fact that I could bring my dog. There was also a very nice welcome gift and preparation for the dog.
