The hotel itself is great! The pool is large and has great views, the breakfast buffet has a big selection, and the room was super comfortable.

To be honest I liked the hotel. The room was comfortable and the staff friendly albeit there was sometimes limited English. A special thanks to the man who managed to break the lock on my case after I had lost the key. There was a hint of local flavour. It is some distance from the town centre and casbah but taxis are not expensive even when paying "tourist" prices. The problem was no WIFI at all in the room at a time when I needed to be in touch with various parties to ensure the that my onward journey would be successful. there was WIFI in reception and bar but given that my room was on the 10th floor this required some organisation to use. For breakfast pop down the road and find the local patisserie

Afric Hotel is centrally located, well presented, and superb for the price. It's a six storey building with plenty of rooms with interesting views around the downtown area. You'll be looking out onto all those fabulous crumbling French colonial buildings, and sipping coffee in their quiet & cosy dining area. The staff were helpful and very flexible with my constantly changing itinerary in Algeria.

The hotel stay at Afric Hotel in Algiers Casbah was excellent. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and situated in a prime location for exploring the historic Casbah district. The staff was friendly and attentive, providing exceptional service throughout the stay. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast provided was basic but delicious. The only downside was that the room was a bit small, but this was not a significant issue given the overall positive experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Algiers.
