This would be 3 star in Australian standard but the service is 5 star from the bell man, the room service, the housekeeping and front office are super friendly and helpful. The location is 5 minutes walk to Zaintuna Bay, 10 min to old souk downtown, alot of restaurants around this areas and grocery store only 2 min walk.
The location and the hotel is nice, but the cost is far too expensive .If too compare just the arabic countries I stayed in Amman similar 5 stars hotel 4 times cheaper
The staff was outstandingly hospitable and provided assistance 24/7 for all our requests. Both Tamer and Riad showed Amazing customer care skills that you rarely see even in 5 star hotels.
The area is nice at day time, and you can walk around 30 -40 minutes to Pigeon rock and Downtown, and around 1 hour to Mar Mikhael. Nice restaurants nearby.
The breakfast was reasonably priced and delicious! So much selection. The room was big, spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable. I had a great night sleep. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I stayed in other five star hotels in Beirut and this is the only one where I felt the service was 5 star. The hotel accepted credit cards which is great as many hotels in Lebanon do not because of the banking crisis.
I was very impressed with the hotel and staff. Sara, Oussama and Samer were very helpful and friendly. You definitely feel welcome and everyone is willing to help and make sure we have what we need. Let's not forget about room service and the food was outstanding. Thanks again guys and will definitely stay at Royal tulip next time I'm in town. Thank you and I'm proud that we have 5 star hotels like Royal tulip in Lebanon.
