This really is a little bit of heaven. This was our first stay here and we will book again without hesitation. The property is absolutely beautiful. As soon as we walked in the door "wow"!
The views from the windows are stunning. It's perfectly located to all the shops, walks and pubs and cafes. The owners put so much effort into the house, you feel so at home. There are little touches everywhere, it's homely, cosy and the perfect place for a weekend.
It's spotlessly clean and has everything you need, whether you were staying for the weekend or a fortnight. We didn't want to leave.
Sue and Mick kept in touch from when we booked. Giving us all the information we needed and made it so easy for our arrival and departure. They really do go the extra mile in making your stay so lovely.

Honestly, it's exceptional.
We used the local shops for eating, the pork pie shop just up the road, the chip shop and went out for dinner at The Swan on Saturday evening. Was a 10 minute walk from the house. Was a chilly evening so was lovely coming back to cosiness of the house and having the view of the Ironbridge lit up at night.

When the accommodation is just as important as the destination, a five-star stay should give that extra ‘wow’ factor as you enter the lobby. As well as offering the kind of service to make you feel like royalty, you’ll usually find highly rated on-site spas, gourmet restaurants and top-of-the-line beds you won’t want to get out of.
The property is a delightful Georgian building. It is full of character. It’s located in the heart of the village and ideal for exploring the local trinket shops. The breakfast was as good as one I’ve had at a hotel with a Michelin star. Superb.
Room was comfortable with a dual aspect, lovely part of the country. Jules (the owner) is a real gem - pardon the pun. She made us very welcome, nothing too much trouble, breakfasts made to order and very well cooked, a slice of cake would be waiting in our room after we had been out all day, we were treated like we were the only guests that mattered but I noticed she did that with the other guests too. It was better than any 5 star hotel I've stayed in.
Absolutely beautiful penthouse, far exceeded our expectations, we will definitely stay again. Even though The Malthouse was closed due to a fire The Bakehouse was untouched and absolutely perfect and breakfast was available for us in the Nearby Swan Hotel, which was also superb.

Top drawer hospitality from Dawn and Danny at their lovely guest house. Dinner and breakfast were superb. A big fluffy bathroom towel better than most in fancy five star hotels of note.
Friendly proprietors, relaxing and tastefully furnished throughout, cleanliness exceptional, breakfast plenty of choice, quality ingredients. Unexpected complementary extras eg tea and cakes on arrival. Well deserves 5 stars, excellent value.We will be back
