Hotel Pashmina Le Refuge, hotel in Val Thorens

Hotel Pashmina Le Refuge is a luxury hotel located in Val Thorens Ski Resort, offering ski-to-door access to Les Trois Vallées Ski Station.

The Pashmina is absolutely excellent. It is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. We had a deluxe XXL room with 2 bedrooms and a central lounge, which worked wonderfully for our family. We also had our own harman, which was a hit after a day's skiing.

The breakfast at the hotel is ok. Not worth 5 start hotel , but anyway good enough for me. I can not say it about the restaurant - food is not good, and you can notice that it is totally not popular. Other restaurants are full, that one is always empty.

Hotel Koh-i-nor .... very nice rooms, spacey clean with good ambiance. Location - directly on slop:) Service and the staff at the ski shop absolutely the best - five star for sure! Restaurant Black Diamond - fantastic, nice staff, very good food - dinner in tasting menu style but very nice with variety of taste and after this menu you are not overeaten. Strongly recommend. In the evenings you may sit at the bar by fire place having drinks.

Location was excellent. Lower part of town near bus station and the slopes Apt was warm and nicely-styled. Beds were very comfortable and there was lashings of hot water. The kitchen was superbly equipped with brand new high quality appliances. Great to have a washer dryer in the apt too Lots of cooking utensils and dishes etc… Lots of spare towels provided, which was a real luxury. Ski room and key system all worked well. Check in system was smooth as the agency waited for us to arrive.

Maybe it's rated as a 3 star hotel, but overall experience is really 5 star. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dinner nenu was excellent, and food was delicious and beautifully served. We will definitely return to this hote, and recommend it to our friends.

The service was really fantastic with a lot of very attentive, friendly and dedicated staff. The ski shop was outstanding. I loved the breakfast and appreciate the fresh orange juice at breakfast, (although you would expect it from a 5 star hotel). The room and the entire hotel is very cosy and has a very warm feel to it. The ambience at the bar is the best in Val thorens.

Great room and view. Food on half board is exceptional. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It’s this that really makes the place five star. Boot room is cracking and the ski shop staff great. Spa is also really relaxing. Worth a visit - especially if the weather is bad the the skiing hard work.

This is a 3 star hotel in a 5 star location. Common areas were unkept and untidy. A lot of staff, while willing, were untrained. Breakfast was excellent, but dinner was poor in that there was little to no food available in the buffet when we arrived down at 8pm. Location is excellent, but so it is for most locations in the resort. One got a very distinct impression this was a budget hotel, not a 4 star. In December we stayed in a near by 4 star, similar price and there was simply no comparison.

location could not be better, beautifully appointed to a 5 star level but it’s still a ski hotel where you feel comfortable wearing casual wear and ski suits etc. the shuttle will take you anywhere you want at any time which is fabulous
