We had the upper penthouse with a small terrace overlooking the whole lake, just wonderful! The food is excellent, breakfast outside or inside just perfect and the staff couldn’t be more helpful! Thank you Giovanni and team for this wonderful stay!

When the accommodation is just as important as the destination, a five-star stay should give that extra ‘wow’ factor as you enter the lobby. The hotel is four star: linen table cloths, excellent restaurant and very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Very clean. Location is superb. I had a single room with a wonderful view of the lake. Unlike single rooms in other hotels, there was sufficient room without being claustrophobic as single rooms often are. Would recommend this hotel to single travellers and I noticed that there were a number of solo women travellers. Zug is a lovely place to stay.

Everything is obviously setup to minimise costs. It is all satisfactory. However, I never have the impression of luxury.

The breakfast was superb. The best hotel breakfast I've ever had. The smoked salmon, local cheeses, and cured meats were divine. The furnishings and finish of the room was humble and luxurious at the same time. The wooden aesthetic was perfect. Staff was exceptionally friendly.
