Within a radius of 10K there are two castles and many hiking trails. The selection of restaurants is good, and a number of excellent ones 7K away in Castelo de Vide. The guest house was very nice with a large room and very nice bathroom. Private parking right beside the guest house. The farm animals added to the atmosphere. A grocery store was 5K away. I highly recommend this place.

The 19th century Casa do Brasão is a fully restored and stylishly decorated unit with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. The building said wow! as soon as you walked in. Interesting design inside and a well appointed interior. Sunshine and a swimming pool - what's not to like!
