The farm stay features garden views, an outdoor fireplace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. The host Deb is a great guy. Guided us honestly. Māngwa
At the farm stay, all units include a desk. There is a private bathroom with shower in every unit, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. At the farm stay, all units come with bed linen and towels. The Quo Vadis farm is an exquisite 150 year old family home tucked into the dense greenery of the Mangwa forest, exuding warmth and an old world charm. The hostess and her staff share a deep commitment towards history and tradition and yet go out of their way to provide the guests with all kinds of amenities possible. We loved the sumptuous breakfast spread, the unique taste of rai saag at lunch freshly plucked from the garden, piping hot finger chips with our evening tea. Lovely trails snake through the forest leading to quaint little church buildings and gumpha s with breathtaking view points. Super friendly dogs keep you company all along the way. The rooms are squeaky clean and bathrooms are fitted with water heaters and showers to rejuvenate your tired body after a steep climb. The quirky furniture, the cosy library space with an interesting and eclectic collection of books all add to the wholesome and eminently agreeable vibes of the place. If you are up for a fuss free getaway into the lap of nature, this is the place for you.
Kalimpong
Set in Kalimpong, PaliGhar Farmstay offers accommodation with seating area. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The property offers car hire and features a garden and outdoor fireplace. As a solo female traveller, I felt completely safe at this property, surroundings and the town of Kalimpong too. The hosts have trained the staff to very high standards, meaning they are attentive, respectful as well as discreet. ‘What you see is what you get’ is how I would describe the rooms - just as in the pictures - neat, clean, well-appointed and spacious. Running hot and cold water in the taps was quite unexpected but welcome! There’s wifi good enough to do remote work, backup power to charge devices in case of power cuts and plenty of open space to spend your days. The food is par excellence and a lot of the ingredients are sourced from their farm. Just sitting on the veranda, you’ll see a variety of birdlife. The hosts complete the experience at this property, providing personal attention to each guest. They also employ local villagers, which I much appreciated. The accommodation is built in the traditional style, to high sustainability standards. All-in-all, I had a very upscale homestay / farmstay experience.

It was a dayout for me and my family. An amazing place in the outskirts. A rural feel. A home away from home. The rooms were big and spacious. Cottage was beautiful. We throughly enjoyed our stay. They were kind enough to arrange for a cab on return. Food prices are reasonable. Overall good 👍
Home away from Home in a True sense…!!! Superb Hospitality by the Owner Family , Fresh Vegetables of own Farmhouse & Amazing Stay…!!! Highly Recommended & keep up the Good Work…👍👍👍
Located in a scenic rural Bengal setting, the property is charming. The fields extend to almost the horizon. Quaint villages dot the surrounding area, adding to the exotic experience.
The most delicious breakfast and kindest and friendliest host. The best views I saw of Darjeeling were from this hotel. Loved my morning exploring watch the sunrise over Mt Kanchenjunga and exploring their farm.
A good location away from the chaotic inner city. The staff was extremely helpful and showed us around the farm and took us to a viewpoint with spectacular views of Darjeeling and Kanchenjunga. The food was amazing too. The ingredients for all meals came from the farmhouse. Highly recommended!
Beautiful mountain view and the farm stay
The staff were awesome, very approachable and always available to help. Mr. Tamang guided us all throughout the way to reach the Farmhouse and taught the culture of local people. He was extremely patient answering our questions and providing the best possible services. We also liked the dogs, they accompanied us almost everywhere starting from reaching the farmhouse to exploring the waterfall. We had a wonderful time over there.
