Located 500 metres from the tranquil Ardra Lake, The Arches Farmhouse B&B is a luxurious, County Cavan hideaway. The property boasts scenic gardens, magnificent panoramas, and has crazy golf and a tennis court on site. The property is a beautiful home with magnificent gardens on a working farm. The views from our room was true Ireland green and lush. Pearl and Wayne extremely friendly and welcoming hosts! Breakfast was delicious especially with home made bread, scones and preserves. Great attention to detail made our stay just perfect! Thank you so much

Situated on a 400-acre farm on the shores of Lough Sheelin, Ross House Equestrian Holidays features an on-site riding centre with a large indoor and outdoor arena.
Each room comes with an en-suite bathroom, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Some rooms have the luxury of a fireplace, whilst the others benefit from a conservatory.
A hidden gem, we booked because it was “pet friendly” but it really is a lovely place. we didn’t meet the owners, but Audrey was great, not our usual choice but we loved it

Catherine, the owner, was very warm and welcoming. The booking and check-in information were all communicated very well, and it was a straightforward process. The cottage is a beautiful rural setting, it is very tranquil and peaceful, which suited us as we wanted a quiet few days. The cottage is like a showhouse, beautifully finished and spotlessly clean, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. It is equipped with everything you would need, a home from home. We would highly recommend Bernard and Catherine's fabulous cottage.

Lovely old restored building with great comfort within its walls. Extremely comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Lovely quite rural location yet within easy reach of Cavan town.
Exceptionally clean property. Absolutely exceeded our expectations for comfort and warmth. Very generous hosts have left extra food/soap products and since we were there for Christmas they went to the extra effort of festively decorating the house which we very much appreciated. Photos do not do justice. Scenic and peaceful rural location, surrounded by rolling hills and a lake.

Lovely traditional farmhouse.
Fortview House is a traditional farmhouse so no frills but very clean. Catherine is a welcoming and very friendly host who provided a lovely breakfast. This is a good value b+b.
