Dinas Mawddwy
A traditional Welsh farmhouse in southern Snowdonia, Bryn Sion Farm offers attractive accommodation surrounded by hills and valleys. A working organic farm with ducks, chickens and lambs, it provides free parking and WiFi and impressive cooked breakfasts. We LOVED our stay! Robert and Lyn's home is extremely charming, set in a picturesque location convenient to a great pub, wonderful hiking trails and more. Robert cooked an incredible breakfast and they both treated us like family. We really appreciated all of their recommendations for making the perfect day trip around the area, and would 100% stay here again. I wish we had more time! The room was also very comfortable and impeccably clean. Thank you Lyn and Robert for your wonderful hospitality!

The owner too is very helpful.

Llanberis
Tyddyn Perthi Farm is set in the countryside outside Llanberis, 2.5 miles from Snowdonia National Park. This charming property offers an ideal setting for fishing, walking, horse riding, sailing and canoeing. What a great place to stay in rural Wales. The cottage is on a working farm with owners Mike & Janice making us feel very much at home. Delicious home made welsh cakes as well as fresh milk, wine & breakfast provisions were much appreciated. Extremely comfortable bed. Beautiful country outlook. Loved seeing the newborn calves.

Loved the location, the views are stunning, the room was comfy and typically farmhouse. Wish I had booked for longer. I've found my base for exploring southern Snowdonia. Fantastic. The hosts are a lovely couple and, as you would exspect, are very knowledge about the local area. Really loved my stay there.. see you again soon...
Location was on a working farm. The owners were very attentive and welcoming and left milk, Welsh cakes, eggs and wine etc.....Self contained barn conversion with excellent facilities and wonderful views.
Don't think this is an international hotel and judge it accordingly. It's a rural inn in a beautiful but remote location surrounded by hills and fields. You will walk into a warm welcome, physical and emotional. The room we had was old-fashioned, rather rustic, characterful, definitely not marble and stainless steel but perfectly comfortable, rather like stepping back in time. the staff were great and the meals were wonderful.
Absolutely loved this place and we all had a fantastic farm stay experience! 10/10 The owner was exceptionally welcoming living room felt very christmasy as it was very well decorated Everything was super clean & tidy Horses & sheep inside the farm Lots of scenic locations around the farm including a beautiful lake and a creek. Highly recommend this peaceful retreat.
This place is fantastic. Has everything you need for a short break, well decorated through the whole cottage. Directions were clear on how to find the cottage as it is very rural. However the views are fantastic on a clear day and surrounded by mountains and farmland. Hosts live on site but we did not see or hear them or our neighbours. The only noise around is the occasional sheep. We would highly recommend and will be returning.
