The hotel is in this beautiful ranch in the middle of the jungle, amazing sky and surroundings and you feel alone in the middle of the jungle
We loved our stay here. Every apartment has a pretty little garden with seating and a hammock. We loved watching the hummingbirds feed on the flower nectar. The property also has a mini farm going on - expect chickens and geese to wander by and cockerels battling it out every morning to be the loudest alarm! The pool area is very nice and there’s a mini restaurant for breakfast (cash payment in dollars only). Eugenia is a great host, very dry sense of humour! A great little with a lovely, authentic charm. Highly recommend!
We loved everything about El Silencio, from the beautiful grounds and hot springs, to the super nice staff and delicious food at the bar and restaurant. The animals roaming the property and at the farm were an added bonus! Would definitely stay here again!!
Beautiful location. We saw so much wildlife just walking around the farm. The birdsong was incredible and it was the perfect place to start our Costa Rican adventure. The drive alone to the farm was stunning. The accommodation had everything we needed and staff were very friendly. We loved going up the bamboo tower to see the birds and get a peek at the volcano. Having a dip in the pool after a day of hiking was just what we needed.
The property is located on a rural area with lovely trees and sounds of the forest. It is very peaceful there outside of busy La Fortuna. It has several little hot springs that vary in temperature from hot to warm and a swimming pool. The food at the beautiful, ranch style restaurant was delicious and the staff and service there were great. We also enjoyed the walk to the hot springs and the restaurant.
My stay at Rancho Margot was amazing. The staff is really friendly and the area of the farm is amazing. Most of the food offered there is from their farm. The two pools are amazing.
Kids really liked the farm, got to go on horse ride and collect eggs. Grateful tour around vegetable garden. Loved the tree next to restaurant with pineapple cores on branches to attract birds. Hot springs lovely and surprisingly uncrowded. Expensive but worth it.
This hotel is amazing, the grounds are so well kept and beautiful. The views of the volcano are to die for and the hot springs were secluded, private, and wonderful. We ate breakfast each day here and it’s included, with a serving of local fruit to start and the huevos rancheros were great. The farm is so wonderful with cows, horses, birds, etc, the staff was so friendly and our room was so clean. Will definitely be back again to visit!
