This renovated horse farm in a quiet rural setting features horse meadows, stables and the possibility for guests to bring their own horse. Filippus offers free cycling and riding routes. It is only a 20-minute drive from historic Bruges and a 15-minute drive from the coastal town of Knokke. Free Wi-Fi is available in the public areas. The room is situated actually directly inside / above the stable so the view from both windows (one on each side) as directly into the stable with lots of horses. We were allowed to see the horses and were even offered to try some horse milk at the breakfast. It is worth an experience!

Liked the rustic charm of the property and the different rooms. Liked the friendly charm and just right level of attention from Annelora. Easy walking distance to a choice of restaurants. This converted farm will be my 'goto' stay if I visit the area again.
Nicely co-located with Alpaca farm in rural area. The property was larger than the photo's suggested. Very friendly hosts who daily feed the alpacas at 9.00 AM, which is nice to attend with kids.
Nice location in the countryside and close to bruges. Accomodation is a nice farmhouse which got modified to an hotel.
The location is very rural - it was a cloudy night, but I think you could stargaze for hours here... There's loads of outdoors space, chairs and picknick places placed throughout. An orchard, a vineyard, an indoor pool... Our hosts were friendly and ready to help. The breakfast was served in the barn, a lovely spacious room, fire going in the fireplace. The spread was very varied, fruits, yoghurt, cheeses, meat and tiny croissants. There was a nice fire going in the woodstove, so our room was nice and toasty upon arrival.
everything was great! the farm stay with chickens and green area for private use, quiet road, but still close to the grocery shop, beautiful house and stunning sunsets, everything you need for a stay, very nice and welcoming hosts, Thank you so much Mieke and Cees!
Breakfasts were excellent with fresh and homemade selections and encouragement from our host to take extra for lunch / sandwiches. Perfect for motorcycle touring, located in a rural location, very peaceful and only 20 mins ride into Ypres. A very good base; comfortable en-suite rooms and a large courtyard with spacious barn for motorcycles overnight.
The location is perfect and parking outside. A wonderful converted sheep barn in a protected farming area. A charming welcome and quiet stay.
Beautifully renovated farm, swim pond, great breakfast (though could make better use of the wide variety of breads available in Belgium), comfortable beds, effective shutters. The host is friendly and relaxed. The small conference venue/barn is self-contained so doesn’t interfere with individual guests
The property was immaculate. in converted barn on an old farm adjacent to the owners farm house. Very comfortable huge beds & contemporary furniture. Own private garden area overlooking the horses fields. Easy parking outside. Situated in the countryside but still near other properties. literally 5 minutes drive from the town of Peer & 3 minutes drive of the Snow Valley ski dome.
The proprietor Serge asked on check what time we would like breakfast! We went for 10.00 Breakfast was served in a cosy farmhouse style kitchen which had a wood burning Aga our bacon and eggs were freshly perfectly cooked right on time . There was a wide ranging buffet of fresh produce a selection of fresh bread ! Fruit yoghurts etc absolutely excellent ! Serge showed us around explained how everything works ! Our first time in apartment rather than a hotel ! When we return to Luna tree whn return to Mechelen !
