Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Waldbothgut is a farm stay set in a historic building in Linz, 11 km from Casino Linz. There is a private entrance at the farm stay for the convenience of those who stay. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The hosts are a very nice family. The house is more of a mansion than a farmyard, it is well refurbished. It is nice to be woken up by birds song and saw also some deers and rabbits on the way to the guesthouse. I went there once by bicycle (a smaller hill at the end) and by foot. The location can be approached also by bus nr. 106. It is a bit downside if you miss the bus you have to walk to the town. Strongly recommend the breakfast which includes some yummy local products - apple juice and marmalades.

This typical Upper Austrian farm house is located 500 metres from the centre of the village. The Mauthausen Memorial Site is 6 km away and the St. Valentin highway exit is 8 km away. A public pool is 2 km away. We loved the personal interaction with the hostess. Even the “grandpa” came out & sat in the courtyard to visit with guests. This personal connection made the Peterseil Zimmer our favourite place our during our Linz to Vienna cycle. Just wish there were more places like this along the way. This is a small BnB, so breakfast is good, but not elaborate.

We had a family trip there, the staff were very welcoming, they waited for us at the dock to walk us to their place, helping us with the luggage. The property has a beautiful and well maintained courtyard with a playground and trambuline for children which we enjoyed. The rooms were spacious and very clean, having everything we needed. The open areas (restaurant and terrace) were also spacious and clean. The food was also amazing and plentiful, madam Nicoleta and her staff made sure to appeal to all our needs, even when the child that was with us wanted to eat something other than fish, they didn't mind preparing a separate dish for him. She also helped us get into contact with local guides to take us on different trips. It was a great experience overall, would definitely recommend her place any time. And I can't stress this enough, the Delta and Easter specific dishes were really delicious, we couldn't help our selves from them, from the soups to the stuffed cabbages(sarmalute) and the deserts.

The place is very clean, rooms are spacious and the wellness area includes a nice sauna and indoor pool. Johannes offered us a glass of nice wine they produce on the property and even made sure we get a packed breakfast as we had to leave early in the morning.
