Located on Mittersiller Sonnberg Mountain next to the Mittersill National Park, Stanglehen is within a 15-minute drive of a lake and tennis courts in Hollersbach, Uttendorf and the Reste Höhe ski region. A restaurant, an outdoor pool and golf course in Mittersil are within 6 km. The absolutely spectacular views from our balcony/bedroom . The room was LARGE. This was the best place we had during our 2 month travels in Europe. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety. There was a very well appointed common kitchen available for guests use. The hosts thought of everything.

Brixen has lots of ski runs, we went to Soll one day from Brixen and struggled to get back but it was a great adventure. End of the season always brings the closure of the ski runs but still plenty to enjoy. We stayed 20th of March for a week.My 3.5 years old joined ski lesson ( the one with penguin logo) 🐧 and they were brilliant. Monica, Sarah and Jocob were excellent. Haggle with them and you get cheaper price!

The area is great for walking or cycling, and you also get a guest card for free use of local buses and trains. I had a great stay and would love to go back again!
