The location is really outstanding if you're looking for a quiet break away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. It's out of the way far enough that you can feel like you are one with the nature around you but not so far that you feel disconnected from being around people. It's a quick drive to the town and to the wine tram. The host is absolutely amazing, being attentive to your requests and promptly responding to assist you. The cottage we stayed at was very comfortable and cosy.

The pool is a decent size and well maintained. You also have it all to yourself which is awesome! Interiors are well maintained and it has the basics for the kitchen… microwave, kettle, bar fridge, toaster and 2 plate gas hob.
The bathroom was nice and clean and it has a loo with a view.
Kim was very friendly but also respected our privacy and would alert me if anyone would be coming onto the property. She responded swiftly to queries and was always available and a quick WhatsApp msg away.
MRD, Checkers and Woolworths delivers to the property so no need to pack lots of groceries… I would advise against taking lots of perishables as there’s only a bar fridge.
They catered to everything we could need even supplying doom for the mosquitoes and flies!! (Its under the kitchen sink) I only discovered it on the second day.

We stayed at The Farmhouse for 2 days and it was absolutely perfect. Great location close to town but also quiet and peaceful and a beautiful rural area.
. We had a big family function and were quite a crowd but with 5 en-suite bedrooms and a very spacious kitchen and lounge and outside area, we had a terrific time. Lovely fireplace and every amenity you might need. The best is the friendly reception and great care taken by the manager Paul and all his staff to ensure that guests are always happy..Thank you..We definitely will be back.
Sunset Farm was absolutely beautiful. The accommodation is well.laid out , with privacy for one to enjoy in each unit and also close enough for families to spend time together if renting more than one unit . The surroundings are beautiful, clean and peaceful. The Farmhouse is impeccable and very comfortable

The friendly owners and staff made the short time we spent at The Farmhouse B&B lovely. We would definitely book with them again in the future. The property is very spacious, with a lot of art and bits and bobs to admire inside the home, and activities to keep you busy on the rest of the property!
It's in a rural setting. There's a strawberry farm on the corner entrance, Polkadraai Farm, a bike park across the street and relatively quiet. The highway access is nice and apparently good airport access and its a beautiful drive. The staff were pleasant.

The "normal" farm experience was refreshing. The wine tasting is right next door with a relaxed environment. The old farmhouse was divided up and provided comfortable self-catering. The kitchen is well equipped, with solar backup and a nice braai area.
This was a fantastic guest farm. Very quiet and private and the rooms were so modern and well kept. The beds were so comfortable and so big.
The hosts were so lovely and kind and made you feel so welcomed. It really was a wonderful stay
It's on a working wine farm, tranquil and met my expectations. We were out most of the daylight hours and would have liked to do their wine tasting had we more time. The rooms were very spacious & tastefully decorated in a section of the old farmhouse, with wooden suspended floors to give that authentic feel of days gone by. The bathroom is massive with heated towel rails. There's a pleasant verandah to sit and enjoy the warm summer evenings.
This is like having your own house on a vineyard. It has an older rustic farmhouse feel- rooms are huge, each bedroom has a seperate entrance opening onto the patio which has views of the mountains in the distance and the the game reserve with antelope and zebra grazing close by.
You can explore the vineyard and see table mountain in the distance from the top of the property- best done at sunset.
The wine tasting at the winery is excellent. Elsabet, our tasting host was very personable and is a real asset to this business.
