Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
You can’t beat the location, and the inn is charming. We prefer boutique hotels to traditional bed & breakfasts, and the Farmhouse Inn is a nice combo of both. All of the following work well for us, yet you should know and be prepared for the these things, which aren’t for everyone: there is no lobby or staff onsite; you’ll get a code to access exterior and interior doors; there is no daily housekeeping. Parking is free and right out back. The food at the restaurant is really good!
It was a very clean, a nice view of the river, deer right out the back door, ducks on river. Beautiful room felt like a romantic getaway. We were here for GNP. 30 minutes from GNP. A wonderful made breakfast every morning. Staff was very friendly. Whitefish was a neat downtown. Loved Craggy’s food was excellent. Especially black & blue bites! Most places closed at 9pm. Had a chance to visit their farmers market. Good pizza from jersey boys and they were all friendly. A big plus McDonalds SWEET TEA for us southern liquid gold!
