Looking for a farm stay?

For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!

Great service and great location. I stayed here because I was meeting Becky Lynch at her book signing at Barnes and Noble at 555 fifth Ave which ended up being very close to the book store.

Breakfast was so great. Felt like farmed market and wide variety of goodness. Also, the handwritten note was an extra special touch!

The place is located just one block away from the Radio City Music Hall, and three blocks away from direct subway access to JFK airport (use A oder E lines). Also, the Museum of Modern Arts is just an 8min walk away. Food Emporium has a branch at 49th St./8th Av. where you can supply your food and beverages. For cheaper options, go to Queens. The kitchen was nicely equipped, which was important considering the incredible cost for eating out in Manhattan.

Nice location for exporing south Manhattan (Greenwich Village, East Village, Chelsea, Lower Manhattan etc). Rooms are small but comfortable and clean. The hotel lobby and bar/restaurant have a nice rustic vibe to them, cool place for having a drink or meal next to the fireplace. Breakfast's nice.

I've never stayed at a Y before, even though I've been a long-time member of my branch. I found the West Side Y to be an affordable "hotel." It was clean, staff were friendly, it was safe, and I will visit again! Thank you for offering the services you do!!! BTW, he front desk clerk, Daniella (sp); the lady from Peru, always spoke a kind word! Thank you again!!!

It was like being in a neighborhood with your own coffee shop. Sophisticated comfortable. There was a crosstown bus to the met and the Guggenheim only two blocks away. Playground for children. Walked to natural history to see the new addition where there was also a farmer’s market and. Food carts on Sunday.

The staff were fantastic, all credit to their attentiveness, proactive nature and general personality. A real asset to the hotel and Hyatt as a branch.
