Very warm welcome of our hosts in this beautiful family-owned castle with modern comfort. The location is very convenient to go to Porto airport. The apartment was well furnished and very clean. It was close to the airport which was very helpful with 2 kids in tow and no long transfers to endure.
Carla was the ‘hostess with the mostest’ for sure and made us feel so welcome. She waited up late to let us check in after a flight delay and was so helpful throughout the week, giving us tips on good places to visit and to eat in. She was also on hand to borrow items from eg when we used the BBQ and didn’t have the utensils.
This renovated old house maintains all the spirit of its original structure, while also featuring modern comforts. The Casa de Louredo is sited in an antique and verdant farmhouse.

Location was much closer to the train station, supermarkets, cafes, restaurant than expected.
Breakfast was excellent and catered for everyone. Staff were very helpful and happy to fulfill any requests.
The amenities kept the family of 16 ranging 3 generations entertained… pool, badminton, table tennis, basketball….
The large villa and extensive grounds allow space for everyone and a peaceful corner can be found if needed.
For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
The owners were wonderful kind and considerate. We were doing the Camino and as Pilgrims that picked us up on the route and dropped us back the next morning as the location is rural and not on the route .

The whole area was very nice Rustic and pleasant, our Tennant Pedro was most accommodating in every way , from picking us up from being dropped off in the wrong address and allowing us to keep our Cases there till we departed
Lurdes Couto, the owner was most hospitable. Beer, port and cookies on arrival before being shown to our delightful cottage. The kitchen was well equipped, including a coffee machine with capsules and fresh flowers on the dining table. Lovely tranquil garden rural setting. One of the nicest stays on our walking the Portuguese Camino. Lovely breakfast.
Thank you to a welcoming and heat warming hostess. She went out of her way to make our stay unforgettable after a long day's walk on the Camino. Will never forget CoutoRural.

Wonderfully renovated farm that also hosts weddings. The room was well equipped and the owners are warm and welcoming. Really nice gem some 20km south of Porto.
We were welcomed by Lurdes, one of the best hosts I've seen. She was super nice and quickly explained some rules and got us into our room. The room/house was a little rustic 2 floors house. Small bathroom but more than perfect for a few days stay. The kitchen had all the needed appliences. The bedroom was upstairs and we loved the decoration.
Everything was perfectly clean, and ready for our stay.
The breakfast was amazing, and Lurdes always made sure we had everything we needed.
