I feel like I was very lucky to find this place as it only opened 3 weeks ago. The view is fantastic, the owner was very friendly. The rooms were great, clean and comfortable, and the breakfast the next day was one of the best that I've had since I moved to Portugal 2 years ago. On arrival they served welcome drinks, and the lady that greeted us spoke excellent English, as well as Portuguese.
I highly recommend this hotel, and I plan on visiting again soon.

Loved that it was a short walk to El Corte Ingles.
Loved that it was a short walk to El Corte Ingles. That place is huge and convenient for shopping.
Very close to cross the bridge into the heart of Porto for eating and shopping as well.
We just parked our rental car and took Uber around the city for convenience. There was a train and bus right outside the building plus restaurants in the bottom of the building which was convenient.

Great vibe, busy and bustle at weekends- port houses, WOW!, great food & drink market - visited many times ( for lovely food, local wine and beer) - more relaxed than the waterfront restaurants which get busy & feel too ‘routine / lacking uniqueness’.
Metro comes to this side of the river - accessible at far end of quay near main bridge to walk across the river.

It was only a 5 minute walk down hill to several very good restaurants and the Riverside Market. The street lighting was good for coming home at night. We used the ferry to cross the river a few times but the bridge was an easy walk. The Portuguese tarts from the Bakery were to die for.

Wonderful apartments on the Gaia side of Porto with great views across and along the Douro. Centrally placed for access to both sides of the river. A short walk to both the cable car, river ferry and the twin level bridge. We actually hired 2 apartments one on top of the other, the top one had the better views and the lower one a large balcony area. Both extremely clean and well appointed.

The vibe here is different in a subtle but definite way from Porto itself on the other side of the river. This is of course a very popular area where most of the Port lodges and many other attractions are found. The hilly winding streets are still remarkably charming and unspoilt. Walk or take the Metro just a short distance south however, and you will find a busy, tidy real-life neighbourhood with its own charm and cheaper eating & drinking options.

Beautiful river-side walk, if a few too many tourist traps (stalls selling very similar materials to every other street market in Porto). Easy access from airport by metro at less than a 10th the cost of a taxi, though if you are staying down by the river it's a long walk or a taxi (or cable car!) will be needed from metro stop. Great restaurants, and of course numerous Port Houses to visit.
I was there end Aug/early Sept and temperature was very comfortable. Only issue was fog / low cloud in the morning which impacted flight arrivals and early departures.

Let me say that this was a last minute booking, due to a bad experience in another hotel in Oporto, that I replaced by this one in a few minutes. Without having the time and the means to compare it. So I did pay more than 50% then the lower price available directly at the hotel and even so was a fair value. If I had the best price it would be excellent.
Besides that the hotel is brand new, basic. But with good quality. It will simply be my pick of hotel when I return to oporto
Fabulous location. Best view of Porto - especially for the festival of St. Joao with the Chinese lanterns ascending into the night sky and fireworks over the river. Food and beverages were outstanding and the ambience of the hotel is just perfect.
The hotel has a pleasant atmosphere throughout the interior-design and the kindnesses of the staff! Our room had a great view on the Douro and Porto! The location is perfect, just a few steps away from the Port wine-cellars of Gaia!
Pleasant stay at this budget friendly chain hotel. Excellent buffet breakfast but gets really busy at peak times. Decent food, nice pool, friendly staff, good location a short Uber over the river to Porto.
Very nice hotel design. Huge 2 bedrooms appartment with nice view to Porto city. Good breakfast. Very good rooftop bar and restaurant. Valet parking service.
