The staff was excellent and professional. The food was michellin quality.. The location was chalinging to get to. But very manageable. Fransico the Manager was exceptional accomadating. Greay value, especially if you are after a exceptional low key experience.

The property is a beautifully maintained and renovated Portuguese small farm but within a village. All built of stone. very beautiful and full of character. There are peacocks and other animals on the property. Each unit is its own unique little space. There’s also a large rec room area with a pool table. We didn’t use it, but if you had enough time, it would be a beautiful place to hang out. The kitchen is unique and beautiful. All stone fireplace, oven, and very traditionally furnished. The breakfast Eduardo served us was fabulous.

This hotel has the most beautiful views in Douro valley! We had the best view from our room, which was a standard room. Good clean rooms and great bed. Breakfast also very good! We really enjoyed our time here!
