For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
I was traveling for the Gliding Barnacles Longboard Festival and found Casa Chanel. It's within walking distance from the festival at Praia Cabedelo. I felt really welcome and everything was really good. The room was very clean and there were a lot of beautiful details in the interior. very good stay.
Everything! From setting foot into this boutique B&B we felt so welcomed and like we had come home. The slightly rural location makes it quiet and peaceful but also very close to cafes, restaurants and beaches. Very clean room and surroundings. The pool was lovely and fresh and a welcome escape from the heat. The breakfast was excellent, a full selection from fresh bread, cheese and hams to your choice of cooked eggs. Highly recommend.
Set in a beautiful garden, this rustic cottage with a gorgeous stone-tiled shower was an affordable holiday home for a family. The hosts were helpful and pleasant.
