The farm surprised us with its comfort and wonderful atmosphere. The nice and friendly hostess tells a lot about the history and nature of this place. We had already heard about the amazing food, but it exceeded our expectations. Absolutely recommended to visit.
Burgsdorf is a corner of paradise. It’s very secluded (25 km from the village of Maltahohe). The owner is such a kind and friendly person. She upgraded us to a superior room and taught us and the other guests many interesting things about the wild animals they farm. Dinner was excellent.
Burgsdorf Guest Farm had been recommended to us with the words "you will not be sorry" and boy! were we pleasantly surprised. Our expectations had been exceeded and we were immediately sorry that we had not booked to stay another night. We were warmly greeted and our luxury room was exquisite. We loved seeing the wild life on the farm, despite having just spent 4 days in Etosha. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was scrumptious. We will not hesitate to return and can highly recommend Burgsdorf Guest Farm.
A fantastic place that will surprise almost everyone. A combination of comfort and nature. Beautifully furnished rooms, comfortable, can be heated with air conditioning in winter. The most helpful staff. Friendly atmosphere. You have to experience this! Skipping this farm would be a big mistake.
1) great value for money and a real oasis after a long, uncomfortable dusty drive.
2) the 'resident' animals that come to the guest farm's waterhole really make this place. Exciting to see these marvellous creatures close up.

We loved everything about this place: it is beautifully located, the grounds, buildings and rooms are gorgeous and very comfortable, and the food was outstanding. Our children had a wonderful time playing, swimming and just watching the cheetahs and rhinos on the farm. What was most special about the guest farm were the hosts, who went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. This is just a perfect place to get away from it all!
The renting supports a charity helping children with special needs. It felt good to know that the money we spent go to good causes and support a group of volunteers running it. We bought our souveniers there. Fenomenal views of the sunrise,the sunset and the Milky Way. Very friendly staff who we enjoyed talking to around dinner. We stayed in a farm house giving us a glimpse jow people lived there maybe 50 years ago. It was amazingly clean. Very convinient location for Naukluft Zebra Park.
The effort the staff put in getting all of us settled. When you mentioned a problem they solved it immediately. The food is out of this world. Friendly staff. The management can’t do enough to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A must guest farm to visit.
